The Impressions of Ireland exhibit gives you the opportunity to experience the personality of a country through its landscape. A trip of a lifetime to Ireland with three of my lifelong friends is the inspiration behind this series of paintings. These paintings emerged through the use of my sketches, photographs and memories of that trip. The colour palette elicits feelings of calm, joy, strength and beauty. Texture is used to display movement and substance. Every painting in this series has a story behind it, which I share in the exhibit. You are invited to experience those stories and to discover your own.
